About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Civil Engineer (Hydraulics) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, Water Management Division.
- Responsible for program management functions related to the Water Management mission in the Division.
- Program include all policy and technical activities employed in river, reservoir, and lake regulation and Water Management policy interpretation and application.
- Water Management programs are of extreme importance to the regional and national well-being and require high level conferences, consultation, and coordination to ensure the best possible control and use of the region's water resources.
- Program management requires the application of extensive knowledge of all aspects of the Water Management function to provide technical and policy assistance to district water managers in program execution and issue resolution.
- The complexity and technical detail of the Water Management program requires the incumbent to be technically competent and conversant in all program areas and have a good understanding of the Water Management business process at the Districts.
